Angelica Liv was born in Bucaramanga, a city in northeast-central Colombia where tropical and desert lands converge. Inspired by the Cacti of her homeland, Liv immersed herself since an early age in the exploration of territories bearing extreme climate conditions until abducted in Germany where she has received, despite all odds, great recognition as a low-key attractive and brainy Ausländer.
Her artistic journey has revolved around the depiction of power animals, blending clichés with a mix of naive and contemporary forms, all brought to life with bold colors. Over the years, she has worked with various magazines, newspapers, brands in the field of culture and independent music projects, consistently adhering to a DIY spirit in all her visual art endeavors.
She is currently focused on editorial work and painting while newly apprenticing tattoo as an extension of her illustrative form.
