What happens inside an artist's mind? My proposal for this campaign was about the artist's inner world. The closest look we can take is to be in their studio. At work. And this is exactly what people in Europe come to do during the Rundgang at the Berlin University of Arts. In a playful and bold manner I went for a gesture we all know very well when we are kids: sticking our tongue out. After all, as artists showing our work might be our most intimate act with the world.
The motive for this campaign was selected by leaders in Graphic Design and Illustration such as Patrick Thomas, Henning Wagenbreth and Fons Hickmann. I was commissioned by the University to design the brand identity and artwork of the campaign for the open house event of the Universität der Künste Berlin in 2016. This project included title design, posters, animations, screen printed merch, stickers, brochures, program flyers and social media content. The campaign was featured in various platforms such as AIGA's Eye on Design.
